The corn crowner is intended for removing the kernels from the corn cob. The corn on the cob is inserted into the seed basket where the toothed roller crowns it. An eccentric sieve that oscillates horizontally separates the grain from the cone. Crowned grains come out laterally, pine cones in the direction of the machine, and dust under the sieve's eccentrics. Depending on the size of the piston, the adjustment of the distance, between the toothed roller and the grid basket, is done via two set screws and two springs.
