Corn Butterizer for Trader Joe's Butter w/ Baseplate
thingiverse
I love the Corn Butterizer, but had to modify my Trader Joe's butter sticks to fit in by trimming them down on the sides - used trimmings on a waffle by the way. So I upgraded the Butterizer and added a baseplate, note that these sticks aren't square - one side is roughly 2 mm longer than the others, making objects not square either. They still fit tightly though, if they don't, just add some more butter to help. There are two versions of cornhole now. One has the curved end for throwing corn like it's meant to be used, and the other version features a flat end to scoop up that corn and push off excess butter with a knife after slicing. For color I chose red T-glase since people claim it is safe for use in cooking - still need to confirm though. At 100°C all filament should technically be sterile but we still wash it regularly with rubbing alcohol just in case. Instructions - Red (t-glasE) My current nozzle is .40mm but S3D made a work around that lets us claim we are using a .55mm nozzle when really we're just layering at .40mm thickness to get T-glase filament out without breaking it on the hot end. Recommended printing parameters - 228 degrees Celsius (no real adjustments recommended there) and an extruder speed of 15 mm/sec with a faster travel speed set to 90 mm/sec I also try infilling with about 18% in my current objects but results vary from case to case
