Corkscrew
grabcad
This compact corkscrew design features a double-threaded trapezoid spindle (outer diameter 9mm, pitch 6mm) for easy use. To insert the corkscrew into the bottle neck, lock the cap and turn the winged nut clockwise to drive the helix part into the cork. The winged nut automatically unlocks when fully inserted, allowing you to pull the cork out by turning it counterclockwise. The lantern's radial fixation uses two thin ribs for secure cork holding. To release the cork from the lantern, turn the locking cap and winged nut counterclockwise until fully retracted, then push the spindle assembly axially to remove the cork. Finally, a counterclockwise turn while holding the cork removes it from the helix part. This design allows for easy component replacement in the threaded spindle assembly, with animations enhancing its functionality. PTFE coating reduces friction on the helix part, and all components are shown correctly assembled in the model tree.
