I was using corks to support my figures during painting, but they kept toppling over whenever I set them aside to dry. So, I decided to create a stand that could securely hold a standard cork in place. I also discovered that I needed some extra stability, so I designed the stand with a small compartment to accommodate a penny. Fortunately, since Canada no longer uses pennies, many people still have plenty on hand.
