The Nabataeans embellished the classical architectural orders with their own unique flair. A capital carved from Sharah limestone takes center stage, adorned with clusters of grapes and a small head of Dionysus, the Greek deity of wine and vines, whom the Nabataeans equated with their chief deity, Dhu-Shara. This and other similar capitals decorated the doorframe of a grand hall within a Nabataean residence at Bayda, the primary grape and wine-producing region near Raqmu-Petra.
