CoreyStruder 0.1
thingiverse
This optimized 3D printing/CNC mill extruder design addresses common issues with existing models, focusing on ease of maintenance. It can be used with gearhead DC motors or stepper motors, like the Makerbot MK5, and features a plastic pusher similar to the Paxtruder. The 3/8" PTFE button is easily resized from 5/8" round material. Designed for milling or printing, it has inside corner radii for 1/4" endmill clearance and can be printed quickly due to its compact size, smaller than a Wade extruder and about 70% the size of a Mk4. Maintenance is simple: the motor comes out with four screw removals, and the entire motor/pinion/bearing unit drops out without disassembly while the extruder remains mounted on the machine.
