I used Sketchup to align the top hole with the bottom hole of the Z Axis Bottom. I created a raised (7mm) cylinder to hold a 608zz bearing (22mm across, 8mm hole), allowing for a taller lead screw to pass through. A new file was added, Z_axis_top_lead_screw_M5.stl, which features the same design but with M5 mounting holes and sockets that hold the Z-axis lead screws opening at both top and bottom. This setup makes it easier for me to push 6mm rods down through the top plate and into the bottom plate. It also provides a convenient way to remove the Z-axis 6mm rods without having to take off the top plate from the frame, ideal for maintenance or any other purposes.
