CoreXY V3.1
thingiverse
This is my actual 3D printer. It's a CoreXY design with a 300x300x300mm printing volume. All printable parts fit on a 200x200 bed (my original 3D printer was an Anycubic Mega). The initial idea was to build a corexy printer which didn't require machined or non standard sized pieces so all profiles, rods and rails use regular lengths available on hardware stores. It was originally designed to be a bowden printer but once I had it working I decided to switch it to a near direct drive design (only 10mm pfte tube). It's easily modifiable to adapt it back to bowden or to any extruder/hotend combination avalialable as the hotend carriage is modular and easy to adapt to many configurations (I started with a E3D V6 clone, changed later to a Mosquito clone, and finally switched to a Phaetus DragonFly with a Trianglelab BMG clone) Electronics and printer parts: ---------------- * 24V 600W PSU (on test a saw a max of 20 amps consumed) * BigTreeTech Skr Mini e3 v2 * BigTreeTech TFT35-e3 * BigTreeTech MOSFet module * Raspberry PI 3 (Octopi) * 24V led bar * 3.3v relay x2 module (control PSU and LED bar) * 4x Nema 17 42mm * 1x Bondtech Nema 17 pancake 25mm (for extruder) * 5" Touch HDMI display (Octodash) * 100k termistor * 24V 50W hotend heater * BLTouch clone * 2510 24v fan (hotend fan) * 4010 24v blower (part fan) * 5010 24v fan (board fan) * Hotbed Creality CR-X/Cr-10S 320x310 * Phaetus Dragonfly Hotend * BMG extruder (mine is a Trianglelabs clone) * Creality flexible magnetic build surface for CR-X/CR-10S 320x310 Extrusions & linear rails: -------------------------------- * 6x 2020 x 400mm * 8x 2020 x 450mm * 4x 2040 x 500mm * 1x MGN12H 350mm * 2x MGN12C 400mm * 2x MGN12C 350mm * 2x Lead screws 350mm 2mm pitch Other components & hardware: ------------------------------------------ * M5 screws (various lengths, mostly 8mm) * M3 screws (various lengths) * M5 T-Nuts * M3 T-Nuts * Silicon electrical wire for hotbed * wiring for steppers, endstops, relays, ... * 2x Leadscrew couplers * 2x 608ZZ bearings * GT2 16T M3 pulleys and timings * GT2 16T M5 pulleys ( nema17 steppers) * GT2 belt * M3 washers And I'm probably forgetting something but I'll try to update it as soon as I'll notice the mistake. The one in the images has some extra additions and configurations which include: * A filament spool holder attached at the back side of the printer * A Logitech C270 cam at the top from side * The double relay is controlled by the raspberry to switch on/off the PSU and the LED bar using Octopi PSU control plugin and GPIO plugin. * The 5" display allows to control Octopi with Octodash UI * It uses Marlin v. 2.0.9.1 You can access the public design at [OnShape](https://cad.onshape.com/documents/35dbb178951ec77ba21aadf2/w/cc3eccf85daea6d50eeab19a/e/75799b62052c3f026f6197c0) in order to view it with more detail or to copy it and add your onw modifications.
