CoreXY Printer with MGN12 Linear Rail
thingiverse
My latest DIY corexy printer project is really taking shape now. Here's the Bill of Materials (BOM) so far: For the Frame: I've opted for 20x20 Aluminium Extruded profiles, which I'll need a total of 12 pieces at 350mm each and 2 pieces at 310mm each to create the lower front and rear sections. Linear Rails are essential for smooth movement, and I've chosen 5 MGN H 12 300mm Linear rails from Aliexpress. They're perfect for this project. Electronics play a crucial role in bringing my printer to life. I'm using an MKS Robin board as the brain of the operation, paired with a 240W LED Power Supply for reliable power delivery. The Heated Bed is a must-have, and I managed to snag an aluminium plate with a heated bed already attached on eBay for just $10. For precise movement, I've selected 4 Nema 17 stepper motors (2W, 40mm) that will drive the entire printer.
