A belt tensioner which can be used on a coreXY or Hbot style gantry Instructions With the advent of CoreXY and Hbot style gantries, its impossible to use a spring tensioner or a curved belt tensioner, owing to the fact that the belt moves a lot. This design uses a tensioning mechanism by first putting the belt inside the L shaped slot, and holding it using the hole (which needs to be tapped M4) from the side. The oval slot accepts an M5 bolt, which is normally used as a post on the carriage. There is a hole on the opposite side of the belt, which needs to be tapped with M4 threads, and will push against the M5 bolt that comes from the bottom. This way, adequate tensioning can be achieved.
