CoreXY Belts Calibration Slat
thingiverse
A small square test piece, measuring just 20x20mm, placed at a precise 45-degree angle with a subtle notch indicating its orientation. You can quickly print these test pieces to verify and fine-tune the tension on your CoreXY system's belts. To do this efficiently: 1. Set your X and Y steps/mm values to their theoretical settings. 2. Print this test piece and measure both sides carefully. It's not crucial if they're exactly 20mm, but they must be equal in length. 3. If the measurements are unequal: - If side A is longer than side B, tighten the belt on side A or loosen the one on side B. - If side B is longer than side A, tighten the belt on side B or loosen the one on side A. Once both sides are equal in length, you're ready to calibrate your steps/mm for accurate printing. I highly recommend using this test piece: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2484766 Alternatively, print four of these test pieces, one at each corner, to check if your printer has any parallelism issues.
