This assembly is engineered to house the cold block and channel air away from the build plate, facilitating ABS printing. When working with ABS, adjust the horizontal expansion for optimal results. The parts print best when laid out according to their design specifications, with supports placed strategically on both sides of the housing, at a 70-degree angle, three walls, and 40% infill. The parts cooling piece should be printed with supports touching the build plate, also at 70 degrees, three walls, and 40% infill. Although it prints well with FDM printers, I successfully printed it using an SLA printer to achieve a smoother finish. The knurled nut inserts can be securely attached using super glue. Required Parts: 1- E3D V6 hotend or compatible model 1- 24-volt fan measuring 30x10mm 1- 24-volt 5015 blower Fasteners Needed: Back Housing: 2- M3x6mm pan head screws Front Housing: 2- M3x15mm pan or socket head screws 2- M3x40mm pan or socket head screws 2- M3x3mm knurled nut inserts Parts Cooling Fan: 1- M3x30mm pan or socket head screw 1- M3x35mm pan or socket head screw 2- M3x3mm knurled nut inserts 2- 3mm flat washers 30mm Fan Mounting Screws: 4- M3x15 pan head sheet metal screws Update: A BMG extruder mount has been added as requested, requiring two M3x10mm socket head screws. The parts were printed with 50% infill, four walls, three top and bottom layers, and supports everywhere. The Y limit switch mount was modified due to interference from the fan screw. To resolve this issue, the switch is now mounted upside down, allowing the blade to pivot in the opposite direction as originally designed (refer to image).
