I created this because the distance between my phone mount and bike radio was roughly 8 inches, while the cord measured a whopping 36 inches long. To address this issue, I integrated a 0.25-inch spring into the design, which presses against the inner gear to keep it firmly in place within the teeth of the mechanism. Additionally, I added a magnet on the backside that securely holds everything together, eliminating any movement or slippage.
