Cord protector for server cabinet
prusaprinters

This was designed to protect the cable of my surge protector that I keep in the bottom of my Black Box server cabinet that acts as a printer cabinet. There are oblong knock-out plates on the upper and lower corners, and this cable protector fits snugly inside the knock-out plate to keep the cable from rubbing against the sharp sheet metal and therefore fraying.

The protector fits snugly in the lower radius of the hole by rotating into place, and has a channel running around the perimeter to fit around the sheet metal. The cutout for the cord is angled to allow you to better position the cord; mirror it if you want it going the other direction.

Print in PETG for best durability, but PLA should work fine as well. I printed with the flat (top) edge against the print bed, and with a brim and supports for the arch.

Solidworks file is attached; you can use OnShape's free version to import and edit if you wish :)
