Cord Organizing Enclosure

thingiverse

Originally designed to manage mouse cords on desks, this versatile multi-part product has unlocked its full potential. It can be mounted along the edge of a tall desk to organize cords or tracks on laptops, underneath laptop tables (as shown in images 2-4) to keep bundles of peripheral cords out of sight, or even as an innovative method to hang keys on walls. Regardless of how you use it, you're using it effectively. Presently Available Versions: 1 x 0.5-inch base Enclosure Model (V1) Additional shapes, sizes, versions, and images are forthcoming; please check back regularly. Instructions Because the holes in Part 2's of Enclosure Models are precision-engineered to fit perfectly with pegs in Part 1's of Enclosure Models, and unfortunately, 3D printers can be imperfect machines, some minor sanding is required on the pegs of Part 1's. Do not sand the thicker part of the pegs, but instead, focus on the skinnier portion at the top. Continue sanding until Part 2's fit firmly and snugly in place. You should achieve a significant amount of friction; otherwise, the enclosure may not function correctly. A well-assembled Model should snap shut easily when closed. If you have sanded the pegs and Part 2's still won't fit together, ensure that the holes of Part 2's are clear and free from printing errors.
