The Dremel 212 Drill Press Stand is no longer available, and if you have one, parts are either unobtainium or very expensive. This cord holder is to replace the one that came with the stand. It fits in the top of the standpipe tube and is easily lost. Without it, the power cord flops around and gets in the way. This holder keeps it up and away from the workspace. The bottom part is slightly tapered to allow a friction fit in the tube. It may not go all the way in. That is by design. You can sand down the edges for a better fit if you desire.
