I crafted this to assist me in accessing the retractable extension cords on my school's makerspace ceiling. It also functions effectively with ceiling fan pull chains. The design is optimized for use with a broom handle featuring four threads per inch. I employed the Christmas lights hook, available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1932441, as the thread base.
