Cord Cover
prusaprinters

Short cover to hide the TV input and power cords from sight. Other models seemed to require better bridging than I can reliably get from my printer. This is 175mm in length, so not very long, but multiples can be easily used. The wall lugs include an anchor to zip tie cables in place under the faceplate.

I included a drilling guide for placing the anchors, but if you're good with a ruler, you probably don't need it. I printed it and checked that it lines up, but I didn't use it myself.

My first print of this was solid, but I've got one printing using vase print settings now. I would suggest that the "open" end be hidden.

Edit: Vase printing produced a very useable part, it's more flexible so will be easier to install and remove, but still not bad, and because of the rounded edges the open part is not very noticeable at all.

Print Settings

Printer:

Self-built

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.25mm

Infill:

Should not matter

Filament:
Spool3D PET-g
Wall colour

Notes:

Face plate can be printed using vase print settings, if strength isn't going to be an issue.

Category: Decor
