I made a custom clip to attach to my Dell XPS power adapter, keeping cords organized in my laptop bag. With this clip, I can pull out exactly as much or as little cord as needed and neatly clip it in place. I also use it to secure the wall cord, which has been replaced with a 1-foot cord since I upgraded from the original 3-foot cord that came with my XPS.
