Corbel or bracket

The corbel or bracket design showcases artistic simplicity through geometric forms on its surfaces. It resembles the style of the previous baluster step. Converting the design to *.stl format is necessary for CNC machining. The rotary function involves both rough, longitudinal movement using a 12.7mm flat bit (-135º to 135º) and finish, longitudinal movement with a 6mm round bit (also -135º to 135º). Alternatively, the design could be indexed at -90, 0, and 90 degrees for CAM, but this would take longer and limit the "free circular texture." Due to the small 1.5V spindle, it took approximately three hours to complete this piece.
