I've noticed some of my freshwater neon tetras have been vanishing into the filter area of my aquarium. To solve this issue, I designed and created screens that securely attach to the existing inflow screens using simple clamps, effectively preventing further disappearances. The screens are 3D printed with a durable ABS material to withstand long exposure to warm water without degrading over time. Prior to adding them to my aquarium, I thoroughly clean each screen by submerging it in hot soapy water and then carefully rinsing away any remaining chemical residue. It's essential to handle the screens gently during installation as the clips that secure them can break loose if too much force is applied.
