This model was created using Fusion 360 and Meshmixer software. Coral's Song won a National Award from the National Scholastic organization. I designed this to represent dead or bleached coral, raising awareness about corals' plight. Corals are vital components of marine ecosystems worldwide, but they're dying due to increasing water temperatures and acidity. Once these corals die, their ecosystems collapse, leaving behind only white calcium carbonate skeletons. As a Floridian, this is an urgent issue affecting my local environment directly. This model symbolizes the physical representation of a coral's plea for help. Please print and share it to demonstrate your support for these struggling marine creatures! Printer Settings: Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 10% Notes: When printing, find the flat side and that will be the bottom of the model. It should be clear when you download the file.
