Coral Reef
thingiverse
I designed this human figure using my 3D printing skills, bringing it to life with a meticulous process that spanned nine hours of precise layering. The ABS material used provides a durable foundation for the intricate details and textures that adorn its surface. With a layer thickness of 0.2mm, each segment is carefully crafted to ensure a smooth transition from one part to another. To achieve this level of precision, I employed an infill percentage of 40%, which allows for a balance between structural integrity and weight reduction. This strategic decision enables the human figure to maintain its stability while also minimizing material waste. The printing settings were optimized to accommodate my homemade printer's unique capabilities. By selecting a resolution of 0.2mm, I was able to capture even the finest details and nuances in the design. Additionally, by choosing not to use rafts or supports, I could focus on creating a seamless and unobstructed surface for the human figure. As I worked on this project, I kept in mind that each step would contribute to the overall quality of the final product. By carefully considering every detail, from layer thickness to infill percentage, I was able to create a human figure that is not only visually striking but also functional and durable.
