This is a magnetically mounted frag plug rack designed for marine aquariums, crafted with precision using PLA 3D printing technology, but I highly recommend ABS or PETG materials for maximum durability and longevity. A total of 32mm x 2mm rare earth magnets are used in this design, which can be easily sourced from numerous online retailers. My personal preference is to order them directly from Amazon. The magnets undergo a multi-step coating process, first applying aquarium-grade silicone followed by a strong adhesive to secure them within their designated holders. After allowing the mixture to dry for several days, multiple coats of black spray-on plasti-dip are applied to seal and protect the magnets. To improve performance in future builds, I plan to utilize solid plasti-dip directly on the magnets, eliminating the need for additional coatings. However, the effectiveness of this approach remains uncertain at this time. Please note that this design is adaptable to most plug types, except for 1/2" plugs. The holes are specifically designed to accommodate a wide range of frag plug sizes, with 10mm being an optimal fit for many popular brands, including Oceans Wonders coral frag plugs, which can be found on Amazon.
