Fossil scleractinian coral Astrangia sp., paired with Ceratoconcha and Balanus barnacles (PRI 76863), reveals itself as a valuable specimen from the Pleistocene Fort Thompson Formation in Hillsborough County, Florida. This remarkable find is housed within the research collections of the Paleontological Research Institution in Ithaca, New York. Measuring approximately 12 cm in its longest dimension, this exceptional specimen was skillfully modeled by Emily Hauf.
