Inlet strainer designed specifically for Neptune's Cor20 pump, featuring a two-piece construction for simplified, support-free printing. To ensure successful printing, carefully flip the lid and orient the print bed with the flat side facing downwards. The threaded components are precision-engineered to match the specifications of the Cor20 pump, ensuring a seamless connection. Small snails pose no threat due to the strategically placed holes, which measure just under 1/4 inch in diameter. During printing, it's essential to deburr the interior edge of the threaded hole as the first layer may compress slightly. This model is designed using inches for unit measurement; therefore, users must convert the dimensions accordingly when preparing for slicing. Simplify3D effectively handles this conversion and scales the design accurately. If the slicer mistakenly identifies the units as millimeters (resulting in a miniature representation), scaling the model up by 2540% will correct the issue, yielding an accurate representation of the inlet strainer.
