Bed leveling during the start of a print has become effortless thanks to these new large grey knobs, which greatly simplify the process.\r\nThe size of these knobs was maximized without obstructing the Y axis rails, making adjustments a breeze.\r\nEach knob requires two M3 nuts (5.5mm across their flat sides), and the thread pitch is 0.5mm, with eight spokes to allow for precise adjustments of 0.0625mm per spoke.\r\nI pre-assembled two nuts onto a bolt, tapping them into position beforehand so they would work seamlessly when fitted to the printer.\r\nPrinting the knobs upside down reduced production time and yielded a superior finish on the visible surface, although cleaning up the hexagonal hole for the nuts was somewhat fiddly.\r\nCorrecting my earlier statement, printing with the default STL orientation, with the boss facing upwards, produces an even better finish but requires some minor cleaning of the hexagonal hole.\r\nUnfortunately, these knobs won't fit on the Copymaster 3D 500 due to their proximity to the Y axis rails.\r\nThey may be compatible with other printers that feature an M3 thread, boasting an overall diameter of 62mm and a height of 11.5mm, with the raised boss in the center measuring 4.5mm.
