The new version of this electronics integrates components like flight controller and ESCs within its structure to provide enhanced crash protection. The goal is to achieve greater weight reduction through topology optimization compared to versions 1-3 while maintaining high stiffness. A Solidworks Simulation predicts that the final frame, printed in ABS with 100% infill, should weigh around 8.71g – a 63% reduction from the original design's weight of 23.16g. Additionally, a 3D test print was done using PLA and a 0.2mm layer height without supports, resulting in a slightly messy frame but sufficient for testing purposes.
