UPDATE: Successfully printing PC+ at 260C for over five hours with no warping of parts has been achieved. The hotend cooling system utilizing the 4010 fan pulling air across the heatsink functioned flawlessly. Printing has been done using PLA, PETG, and PC+, resulting in no issues with clogging. Retraction settings have been lowered to .4mm, eliminating stringing, even when printing with PETG. __________________________________________________________ This is a remix of the "Tank" from Greg191134 designed specifically for the Slice Engineering Copperhead hotend. The majority of parts have undergone significant revisions to accommodate the new hotend. Fragility has been resolved in the original design. The hotend cooling solution has also been reworked to utilize the stock Ender-3 4010 part cooling fan, exhausting heat upwards (like Hemera) and avoiding drafts when printing technical materials. This fan finally has a suitable use! One corner needs to be clipped to clear the backplate bolt. The part cooling fan shroud remains the same as Scope6666's design, with slight improvements made to the bracket for better quality of life. The direction of the fan is uncertain due to the Copperhead being slightly taller; time will tell if it is perfectly aimed. The BL-Touch mount has been reinforced and a center hole added for pin access. Shims are included to help achieve the desired BL-Touch height. Most hardware remains the same as the original tank design, except for the hotend fan. Stock Creality screws should work here. Tolerances are tight to ensure a secure fit; your printer must be well-adjusted for success with this design. Printing in PETG (as shown) is recommended for best results, but PLA can also be used if a silicon sock for the heater block is created (https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/32781-slice-engineering-copperhead-silicone-sock-mold/comments). Permatex Ultra Copper silicon was used with success.
