Copilot Bicycle Seat and Footpegs
thingiverse
This minimalist child seat fits specifically on a Fetish Obsession bike frame. It attaches to the top tube and footpegs to the down tube for a secure ride. The child sits in front of the rider, holding onto the handlebars, enjoying the experience as if they're driving the bike. Despite concerns about safety, the child is within reach and sight of the rider, safely nestled between their arms and legs (especially since it's an electric bike with minimal pedaling). A photo in the gallery illustrates the setup, using PVC pipes for footpeg mounts, glued in place with the mounting bolt passing through. Modifications may be needed for other frames, but Sketchup files are available to adjust as necessary. The seat's infill was likely around 70-80%, and an acetone dip was used on the footpeg mount to increase strength; it has held up well so far.
