Cooling funnel
thingiverse
You will need to drill two M4 holes in the printer head bracket to secure the cooling funnel. The fan is a DAOKAI 2-Piece 12V 40mm Cooling Fan designed for 3D printers, purchased from Amazon. A spare 12V fan connection is available on the board; you'll require a Mini Micro JST 2.0 PH 3-Pin Connector Plug Male with 150mm Cable & Female also bought from Amazon (you might need some extra cable to connect them), using just the black and yellow leads while removing the red one. The fan is held in place by four M4 screws and nuts. The fan works effectively when printing thin wall sections. I did install a switch to turn it off during thicker part printing, but it proved unnecessary so I left it on. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Steel Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: Material: PLA I printed the funnel without supports and it turned out okay.
