Cooling for GL-750S-Ext

I'm really excited about this compact OpenWRT router, but it can get quite hot... https://www.gl-inet.com/products/gl-ar750s/ So, I came up with a creative solution to attach a 120mm fan (I used Noctua) for cooling. Airflow enters from the bottom and flows through the entire device. I ran performance tests via Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet, transferring over 1TB of data multiple times. Unfortunately, I didn't notice any significant improvement in performance with the added cooling :(.
