Cooling Fan

The base snugly accommodates a DC motor with a diameter of 20mm, but its dimensions can be tweaked directly in the openscad script. This project is still in development phase. The plastic used is so lightweight that it cannot effectively counteract the pull exerted by the motor, and I'm hoping it will eventually serve as a mini propeller (test video: http://vimeo.com/8199151). For now, however, it functions primarily as a cooling/exhaust fan which can be secured in place either by bolting it down or using the 9V battery version – the weight of the battery is sufficient to keep it stationary, especially when placed on a rubbery surface.
