This design employs a 50mm fan mounted directly to the base using switch brackets, which are adapted from a battery holder specifically made for Sony NP batteries (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:629893). A standard 1/4 inch threaded hole is provided for attaching the device to a tripod or camera cradle via a square 1/4 nut. The concept behind this design stems from the notorious overheating issues experienced by Sony A series cameras during prolonged recording sessions or time-lapse photography.
