Edit 7-16-2017:\nI made a second version of the nozzle, which is even wider to allow more air to flow through.\nThe new nozzle hasn't been printed yet, so it remains untested.\nThe design is intended to be mounted on the front of the extruder carriage of a Geeetech Prusa I3X.\nThe nozzle was created by remixing a fan holder and my dial indicator holder designs.\nHowever, modifications were necessary to make the nozzle fit the fan.\nThe type of manufacturer may influence the required adjustments.\nThe new nozzle design will accommodate fans with outlets measuring 17.6 by 12.8 mm.\nFollowing reports of printing problems and misalignment issues, I made some small changes to the design.\nThe revised nozzle is shorter and blows air downwards, improving its pointing accuracy towards the extruder nozzle.\nThe right side of the nozzle is now straight, making it easier to print without support.\nThe fan holder was also adjusted by shifting it a few millimeters to the right.\nThe design continues to improve with each iteration..\nPrint Settings\nPrinter:\nGeeetech Prusa I3X Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: Does not matter Notes: No support is needed, as it would be a difficult task to remove afterwards.\nBridge supporting is unnecessary and may cause issues.\nA cooling fan with nozzle could potentially solve bridge-related problems..\nPost-Printing\nRemove the thin support on top of the nozzle, designed for easier printing.
