I recently encountered an obstruction in my printer's hotend, which required me to remove the side fan. To gain access, I inserted a hex wrench into the fan, unfortunately breaking several blades in the process. Seeking to avoid a similar mishap in the future, I acquired a new fan and successfully installed it. To ensure that this incident wouldn't be repeated, I designed a protective piece for my 40 mm fan. The SolidWorks file is available for anyone who might want to modify it according to their specific needs. Noting that the original screws were too short, I opted to replace them with longer ones, which provided a more secure fit. I hope this solution proves useful for others in similar situations.
