Cooling Fan for Sunhokey Prusa i3 (2015)
thingiverse
I designed a custom cooling fan system for my Prusa i3 printer, which involved modifying and designing various components to get it just right. The adjustable connection arm is the key feature that holds the 40mm Makergear M2 Updated package's cooling fan in place, allowing me to tailor it specifically to my printer's needs. I focused on creating a design that seamlessly connects the arm to the cooling fan. I'm excited to share this project with you! As you can see from the attached photo, the addition of this cooling fan significantly improves print quality. The right side shows a print with the cooling fan enabled, while the left side is without it - notice how the lifting on the corner and holes in the top layer are almost entirely eliminated when using the cooling fan.
