This blower mount aids in cooling your print head by traveling along the X axis. Note that it's essential not to leave it running continuously, as it can significantly reduce the temperature of your extruder and heated bed. The models include the fan design for visual reference until installed on your printer. However, if you print the fan model, it won't actually blow air. To assemble, insert LM6UU bearings into their slots for the X axis and route the fan wires through a hot-glued brass tube on the X motor mount and idler, keeping them out of the way. If your printer has smaller shaft couplings, you may be able to adjust the Z axis to catch the tube against the Z motor mounts. Route the fan wires with stepper and limit switch wires, and attach the fan using 6-32 screws. Alternative fans include the NMB models BM5115-04W-B30, -B40, and -B50, which offer increased airflow while still fitting.
