The cooling box is specifically designed for TAZ3 3D printers and features a 50mm muffin fan. It offers three outlets; one for cooling extruded PLA filament, another for keeping the extruder motor cool, and a third for providing active cooling to the hot-end heat sink. A recent update includes an exhaust hole in the hot-end for improved ABS filament compatibility. Extra holes can be sealed with scotch tape as needed. Installation requires two M3 x 6mm screws on the right side of the hot end assembly and four M2.5 heat-set inserts for fan mounting.
