Cooling direction test
thingiverse
This test will evaluate not only the effectiveness of your cooling system but also identify which side of the print is receiving insufficient airflow. To facilitate this evaluation, disable any speed limitations caused by cooling issues for testing purposes. The model's design features slopes at a 45-degree angle, making it printable except where cooling problems arise. In my experience with the printer, I've noticed that the first level tends to receive better cooling than higher levels, possibly due to air reflecting off the print bed and enhancing cooling performance. For an accurate assessment, I recommend printing the entire model. The accompanying before-and-after photos show the left side prior to adding hotend insulation and the right side after its installation, with no fan adjustments made yet. Supports: No Resolution: 0.2
