Cooling Base for Laptop Stand. These are useful pieces to be able to accommodate the Laptop Computer (or Laptop Stand) in a Home, Passive and Ecological Base. Passive because it does not use fans, it simply makes air circulation much easier. Ecological because parts are recycled and it does not consume energy :-) I have recycled the grid shelf of a refrigerator or freezer that was discarded as old and useless. It is difficult to find this type of shelf as they are now made of glass. If you are lucky enough to find one, you can make the Fridge Base with the help of these 3D pieces. You need 8 screws of 3mm diameter and their respective nuts. Their length will depend on the thickness of the grid. In my specific case they are 12mm long screws. You can always buy a longer screw and cut it to the size you need. If you decide to cut the screw, I advise you to screw two or three nuts first and then cut. After sawing and filing, the thread will be rebuilt at the point of the cut when the nuts are removed. The nuts fit the 3D part very tightly. It's so they don't fall off or take up slack and spin around. If you have trouble inserting them, you can help yourself with a tin or cautery. The hot nut will fit more easily. If you like the result, you can cut the grid to the size of your laptop. In my case, the grid is covered with a white material. So I have painted the metal parts that have been exposed to the air after the sawing to avoid rusting. Use a paint that can be cleaned with turpentine, white gasoline, or solvent. As very little is needed, you can use "white corrector" from the one used to correct errors when writing, but it has to be the one that uses solvent and not water. Arrange the 3D parts in places that match the laptop legs.
