Cooler for E3d CL260
thingiverse
I craft a compact ring print cooler for my CL260 as its original coolers consistently fail to keep my nozzle at a comfortable temperature, leaving me exhausted from repeated disappointments. My current setup, featuring one 40mm fan, seems surprisingly effective in addressing this issue. To securely attach the cooler, it requires three holes on each side for screws - two lower ones for the standard hotend and an upper set for the volcano hotend. In my specific case, the fan ring sits just a millimeter above the surface of the printer. The holes intended for mounting the fan must be drilled precisely to ensure a snug fit. I apologize for the simplicity of my drawing, but functionality takes precedence over aesthetics in this instance. Following improvements, my cooler now features additional mounting holes for better height adjustment, as well as two larger holes for strapping the cooler securely onto the printhead. This modification prevents the clip-on heatbreak cooler from sliding downwards, providing a more stable setup. Furthermore, I've added a 5mm LED mounting hole to illuminate the nozzle - an aesthetic touch that adds character to my printer's design.
