Cooler Divider / Cutting Board
thingiverse
There are slots in the cooler, and I'm glad to find that they're perfect for a divider or cutting board to fit this Coleman Excursion 9 Quart Cooler Model 6209. However, it's not possible to buy one that fits exactly. With some quick measurements using rulers, calipers, and measures, along with Fusion 360, I designed a serviceable divider and cutting board that fits in the cooler in just over four hours of printing time. The divider is 6mm thick, 162mm tall, and tapers from 180mm to 184mm wide. It's super simple and designed to fit snugly into the slot while allowing for full width above the shelf edges. The best part? It also fits as a horizontal shelf if you want full width across the bottom. For durability, I chose PETG material, which is similar to what's used in PET water bottles and food containers. PLA should also work just fine and is generally recognized as safe when used in contact with food. However, it's worth noting that different colorants may introduce toxic chemicals, so if you're concerned, be sure to check the Material Safety Data Sheet for your filament from the manufacturer.
