Designed to aid in removing bubbles from coolant by "swirling" around the center. Can be made in different diameters and heights, round shapes work best. Originally intended to be made from 5052 aluminum sheet, 6061 aluminum tube and radiator cap bung, and TIG welded with 5052 filler. Could be made from other materials.
