Three piece Cookie Frosting Stencil. Top and Bottom I printed with a brim but not the scraper. This is actually version 3 even though it's the first one I've uploaded. I used the first one successfully. I make my stencils from drafting mylar cut to just a little bigger than the Top/bottom frame. Then I cut holes for the posts and when you snap down the top it keeps the stencil nice and secure. I use standard roll out sugar cookie dough. I roll it out to about 1/4 inch thick before baking. You can use 1/4 inc dowel rods on either side of your dough to make sure your dough is not too thick or think. Works great. I use standard Royal frosting made with Wilton Meraingue poweder. You want it about toothpaste consistancy. Some tips for success: 1) Don't cut the holes in your stencil too large. It's better to have the suggestion of a shape and have the stencil work than to have the hole too large and the stencil not work. 2) Don't have any ong unsupported pointy sections of mylar - the scraper will catch and lift or bend these. Think about your stencil design before you cut it out. 3) Periodically clean the stencil. How I Designed This Designed in Tinker CAD. This is actually version #3. I already used version 1 successfully and am excited to try it on Halloween and Christmas Cookies this year.. Category: Kitchen & Dining
