Conway's World #1: Towers
cults3d
Hi! This is the first of a series of collections that I'm excited to share with you. It's all about Conway's Game of Life, and it's something that I've been passionate about for a while now. The main objective was to create a 3D printable representation of the Conway automatons, which would showcase how ordered structures can emerge from a chaotic state by simply following some basic rules. The outcome was some pretty unique architectural designs. After developing a software to run the concept, I found myself unable to stop generating and saving models. So, I've uploaded 60 files ready for printing! These include 60 STL files and their thumbnails, all packaged together in ZIP files (check out the thumbnails below). They're perfect for decoration or as scenery for tabletop games. The best part is that they were generated procedurally using Processing, making them easy to print with no supports required. Check out the printing tips below for some helpful advice. I hope you enjoy this collection! Have fun exploring it!
