Conversion of a portable Air Conditioner from single to dual hose design

Most portable AC systems sold locally are single-hose models with two major drawbacks compared to dual-hose units: lower cooling efficiency and a slight negative pressure created in the room where they're installed. The project involves designing a box that attaches to the air intake grid of the AC unit, allowing for an additional hose connection. Due to its compact size, the box is divided into four identical parts. All components (box and hose connector) are crafted from ABS plastic and bonded together using a strong adhesive. To prevent warping, the box parts and hose connectors are specially designed with anti-warp features. The AC unit model in question is the Midea MPH-09CRN1, while the box dimensions measure 25x25x8 cm. The hose diameter is set at 15 cm but can be adjusted according to specific needs through modifications made to the SCAD files.
