Conventillo Mediomundo (Reconstrucción Virtual)
sketchfab
This is a virtual reconstruction of the Conventillo Mediomundo as it stood in the mid-20th century. The building was constructed in 1885 in Montevideo, Uruguay to provide affordable housing for low-income social groups: immigrants, rural laborers, and Afro-descendants. These last managed to forge a strong bond with the place that was eventually demolished in 1978 during the civic-military dictatorship. This project is part of the Master's Final Project in Virtual Heritage at the University of Alicante, Spain. Realization: Arq. Daniel Thul Dalmás, Music: Néstor Porto More information can be found at www.conventillomediomundo.com
