The Convair C-131 Samaritan, a military transport produced from 1954 to 1956 by Convair, was essentially the military version of the Convair CV-240. It shared its roots with the trainer model, the T-29, which was also based on the Convair 240 and was instrumental in instructing USAF navigators for all USAF aircraft. In service across the US Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, as well as various foreign military services until the early '80s, many were later sold into private use post-surplus. This model, built close to scale and within actual general dimensions, features animateable propellers, ailerons, flaps, elevators, landing gear, and landing gear doors; it's fully textured and available in multiple formats.
