The Convair F-102, an American interceptor aircraft, was constructed close to scale and boasts full texturing. It features animatable flaps, ailerons, retractable landing gear, landing gear doors, rudders, and a movable canopy. The model is available in numerous formats. Built as part of the US Air Force's defense system in the late '50s, it entered service in 1956 with its primary role being to intercept Soviet bombers during the Cold War. By the mid-to-late '60s, many of these planes were transferred from active duty in the Air Force to the Air National Guard.
